All of the reasons for invading iraq have been proven to be based on false intelligence, yet the bush administration refuses to admit its guilt in manipulating support for “operation iraqi freedom.”
During the last four years: Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians and over three thousand US soldiers have been killed, more than the number of American lives lost during 9/11. Iraq has become a bloody and violent sectarian conflict with 185 insurgent and militia attacks every day, claiming life after life. This war has cost US taxpayers $368 billion that could have been spent on education, healthcare and domestic relief for Katrina relief victims. Our personal liberties and freedoms have been continuously restricted in the name of a perpetual war on terror against the US public. And now Iran is next! We need to act NOW to take back our government.
JOIN US IN SPEAKING OUT AGAINST THE WAR AND OCCUPATION OF IRAQ. WE MUST TAKE A STAND!!
We need to make this stand PUBLIC! We have the mall all week long reserved for flags and demonstrating. I'm hoping to get a crew camping out every night, to make the greatest impact. Bring the festival atmosphere: Open mics, music, dancing, poetry, impromptu discussions, anything! If you have any ideas, events, input, if you wanna help with anything!
